- What looks are available on the property?
- Seven on one property: a standing 13-building set ready to dress or build on; a river canyon with granite, rapids and deep pools; valley-oak groves from open savanna to dense canopy; rolling foothill pasture with clean horizon lines; a rebuilt stone barn; working-ranch infrastructure (corrals, outbuildings, dirt roads and gates); and elevated ridge vantages over the canyon.
- How large a production can the ranch support?
- We have hosted a Hollywood feature with up to 350 cast and crew on the property, including basecamp, catering, background holding and full equipment staging. If your production is smaller, the same infrastructure simply gets easier.
- Can we lock down the entire property?
- Yes — full-property exclusive use is available. The ranch closes to the public for your shoot, and security measures are in place for the duration.
- Does the ranch help with film permits and paperwork?
- Yes. We coordinate location agreements, insurance certificates and Amador County film permitting, and we've done it for productions at scale. You deal directly with the owner — one point of contact, one signature.
- Is there power on location?
- The rebuilt Stone Barn has power and works as a practical interior or a period exterior. The canyon, groves and pasture are off-grid.
- Can cast and crew stay on site?
- Yes. The ranch feeds and sleeps guests for a living — riverfront campsites and stone cabins are on the property — so cast and crew can stay on location instead of commuting to it.
- Are the looks under one permission?
- Yes. The standing set, the canyon, the groves, the pasture and the barn are all on one property under one permission, with one set of gates to open.
